I'm a Senior Data Analyst working in a large marketing agency, campaign reports & marketing strategy are my bread and butter, but I've been toying with the idea of pivoting to a financial analyst role. I've got all the hard, technical skills for an analyst role covered, so in my eyes plenty of transferable skills, but yet I'm getting doors slammed in my face without any experience working in finance.

Any ideas how to get my foot in the door so I can show my skills?

Hi, where or what types of companies should sophomores & juniors apply for next summer (2022) to recruit for IB the following summer (2023)? This summer BBs wrapped up SA IB recruitment, EBs even earlier, and a fair amount of my friends missed out big time.

I’ve been practicing in traditional labor for about two years now (although about a decade of labor relations experience) but I’m trying to break into employee benefits law. Unfortunately I’m not being given much experience in benefits as I’m pretty typecast as a labor atty. Any advice on how I can go about getting employee benefit experience?
