Hi all, Im currently in the process of applying for a company called Vivint based in the US, selling solar solutions. Vivint said they will sponsor my visa but require my passport information as im from the UK. My questions are, has anyone been employed internationally by Vivint and been through the same process im going through now, and can anyone vouch for Vivant as a trustworthy company? Hi all. I just received an offer for $130k and will be eligible for about 29,000 shares of stock options. The vesting schedule is 1 year and then quarterly thereafter.

Can someone explain what this means? I “will be eligible”. So, I have to buy the shares? Should I be asking at what price?

Does anyone else struggle with taking detailed notes during meetings and have tips for improving? One of the partners I work for demands that the most junior associate take detailed notes and circulate them after every call, but I have a hard time comprehending the call if I am taking notes because I’m focused on typing quickly. And my notes can be spotty when I get behind typing or get distracted.

I am a UX designer and have spoken with a potential client who intially wanted to redesign the navigation and landing page of their site. They showed me analytics saying only .35% of users open the main menu (most access different pages through Google search and then leave the site) so it's not worth the time to redesign. I see a lot of growth potential here, but they don't see the value in good nav if users don't already use it. How do I show them the value of good nav? Should I just let it go?
