Hi fishes,
Can you help me with in hand salary?

Hi ,I have been interviewed and selected in S&P Global .salary almost negotiated and waiting for the offer letter to release. But seems like they are not willing to release the offer because of my 90 np . They are asking to join by 60 days but initially I told them my NP is 90. Even I am ready to take the 60 days offer but now they are not releasing offer as they want assurance. Now they are not picking calls.seems like i will loose the offer. Is there anything can be done.

Move to Singapore, consider this move as stepping stone for this new opportunity. After few years you will not regret it.
Are you working in Singapore?
I am in Singapore currently.. came with a salary of 7700... 7000 is a good salary if you are a bachelor.. if with family, there won't be much savings (as 2bhk rent itself will come around 3000).. still, I would suggest you to take up the opportunity as you can consider this as a first step and try to change company with good hike from here.

Thank you.
But I already turned it down.
When we were negotiating the salary, the recruiter kind of raised a red flag as she openly challenged me saying that I am not going to find any organisation who would pay more than 7K. It says a lot about the org culture and their attitude towards employees
Actually I asked for 10K. But they are saying that 7K is their maximum budget for 4-6 years.
I was thinking my wife can accompany me and she can also work there. Then it should be fine if she also could get a similar salary
However at the same time. a lot of hiring is done through contracts, I had a friend who worked there and had a great experience. The factor to evaluate is if u want to explore a long term move abroad this is a foot in the door. However does come with risk attached. My only issue was that I didn't want to risk a third party contract however lot of people do it
Reject the offer right away.
1.2L in India is much better.
I think the saving and remiitamxe potential is low at that salary. Basically same as Indian salary when you consider taxes acommadation expenses inflation
India is best unless you go to US, Canada or Germany or UAE. Rest others are not worth working for onsite.
Purely my thoughts ofcourse. Its upto you.
Since I have been located in Singapore for few years I think I can share you both perspective.
Indian salary for your experience is too good but since you are married with offer of Singapore - I request you to move SG for your coming family. Infra , health is no match in India. Sooner you will be able to jump in SG with 10k also.
Remember my post and thanks me later.

Below 10k SGD not worth moving to Singapore
Your Indian salary (1,20,000 Rs) adjusted to Purchasing Power Parity of Singapore is 4567.85 SGD. You said you are getting 7000, which is well above that. So good option. Just make sure you are getting 7000 Dollars in hand after taxes.
No it's 7k gross per month. That is what got me thinking
Go if single, try to negotiate another 10 to 15 percent
Work Life balance is generally good but you can ask for more salary. Somewhere around 1.2 lacs SGD a year should be good
How do you got the offer from Singapore? Try for a couple of years in Singapore. If planned properly, you can save almost equal to your indian salary.
Thank you. The recruiter reached out to me via email
Two my friends already in Singapore, one of my friends salary is 6000 and he is saving 200000 per month.
It is good opportunity I guess
Married families will barely survive at that salary for them 10000 to 12000 sgd will be necessary.
CAB work culture is not good as per my friend's suggestion. I get calls every 3 months from consultancy. If you are ok to travel alone you may consider an offer. But to find a rent house you have to struggle a lot (1800 to 2500 sgd depends on luck).

Absolutely.
I can always earn more money, but I can't have my kids early childhood anytime else.
Currently I'm making good money, my wife also earns decently. We are able to provide for ourselves as well as the baby.
I'm planning to move to Europe, preferably Germany once my Kid is at least 2 years old
7000 SGD is equivalent to 19.5 LPA in india in terms of purchasing power parity hope that answers your question

Yea thank you
Get a remote job in india and save money by being in your hometown and chill and enjoy lige
Could u tell me to search for it
Calculate your total take home, don't go by just salary (minus the taxes and other deductions). Then deduct the expenses from take home. Whatever remains is the savings. Now compare the savings by converting it to INR. Is it more than your India savings and by how much? Take a call based on that. If you save more than 1.25 lacs then I think it's worth it.
If you deduct taxes from 7k, I think you will be able to save only about 1000 SGD which is around INR 60-70k
I considered 4.5k as expenses, 1.5k as taxes.
Best way to compare
Then don't see benefits of moving
If its contract avoid, as Singapore is like India in treatment of contractor.

.
7K /mnth in SG is nothing but 60K INR equivalent life in bengaluru. You got to compromise your life inside a pigeon hole, life w/o car driving (public transport is excellent), infra and hygiene way better , expensive education, rental expensive than Mars etc etc.
1.2L INR life (assuming you rent 25K, own car worth 10L, living within 20k) will be equivalent to atleast 11k SGD.
