Move to Singapore, consider this move as stepping stone for this new opportunity. After few years you will not regret it.
Are you working in Singapore?
I am in Singapore currently.. came with a salary of 7700... 7000 is a good salary if you are a bachelor.. if with family, there won't be much savings (as 2bhk rent itself will come around 3000).. still, I would suggest you to take up the opportunity as you can consider this as a first step and try to change company with good hike from here.

Thank you.
But I already turned it down.
When we were negotiating the salary, the recruiter kind of raised a red flag as she openly challenged me saying that I am not going to find any organisation who would pay more than 7K. It says a lot about the org culture and their attitude towards employees
I did the comparison using www.numbeo.com once. Trust me 7k for singapore is not enough j think you atleast need 8.5k to living in singapore. Rest depends on your lifestyle and if you are single. You can checn this site and do your analysis.
Sure. Thank you. I have informed them that I wouldn't be accepting the offer unless they are willing to pay 10k per month

The recruiter reached out to me. A consultancy called Exasoft is hiring for them. You can try reaching out to some of their recruiters on LinkedIn
I had very similar case but i didn't went there because that was service company I don't like culture of service company. But if you okay with that then you can go
Medical expenses are alot in SGP if company is not covering. Check that also with them .
It is costly city . You won't be able to save money.
And also work life balance would not be good.
If you want to take risks you can go.
Because expectations has no limits
Now a days knowledge and experience can be gain virtually also. If you are just developer with some dev skills only you can get easily replaceable once the move their tech stack up.
Some of my friends has migrated to other countries for better opportunities but eventually they found indian culture is much more good and india life freedom is higher compared to other countries.
On site opportunities are good then migrating because at the start of risk within six months you will get the expected of company with family re migrating or changing in between gets tough but family at home and going for to take risk for 2 3 months helps to test the waters and plus side you can send that extra savings in india for future purposes like
1) come back india then find a good job here saying sigapore bank experience
2) Surviving on sent savings for 2 3 months
Just an opinion as I was working with american company offcies in india serving foreign banks in india.
once bank people don't find any new job or project the cut the teams like hell and fire like hell so migranting family is riskier then you going ahead and testing the stability aspect of Singapore bank
the same ctc you can achieve in india with your skillset.
singapore is a good country but you will end up paying more tax than india and yiur on hand wil decrease

Thanks
You can compare living costs on Numbeo.com
May I know which company are you currently working. I have more than 10 years of experience in same technology bit earning very less in my current organization.

My suggestion would be to not consider this opportunity.
1. Work Life balance is terrible for the contractors and I've heard recently it got more miserable.
2. There is high impact of inflation on the cost of living in Singapore. You need easily upto 4.5 to 5k monthly for rent + all other expenses.
With this small margin I would not suggest to go for it.
Am earning 80k in india and got offer of 8000SGD but still I felt it’s less to survive there since am family man. You can decide based on your experience but comparatively you are at already earning good in india and it’s not good offer for u.
U can 50% in singapore.
1. Use the PPP calculator to find out the SFD equivalent in India.
2. How did you get this opportunity? Kindly shed some light.
This helps. Thanks
Move to Singapore
I would choose Singapore because entry is not so easy in these conditions and Singapore is very near interms of traveling and fare charges and you can come back anytime if you don't like the job or place. You dont even have to miss major events in india considering the above-mentioned point.
As you are just 5 years experienced, switching a job in india or Singapore is an easy task if you want to hike your pay. So go for it.
Hi, this isn't related to your question here, but I just wanted to ask how u guys are applying to jobs outside of India? I don't see any such options in Naukri?

Naukri is useless for on-site opportunities.
Try LinkedIn,stepstone.de etc
May I know how you reached out for job in Singapore. Can you please guide me

Singapore is expensive but you should be able to sustain for 1 person around 3K SGD/month
