What salary can I expect as an AWS data engineer from IBM, given Chennai as a base location ?

With 4.5 YOE and current CTC of 9 LPA

IBM Tata Consultancy Cognizant Accenture

Received an offer at 300k/year and a Google offer at 200k/year.
I wanted Google since I started the whole interview process, but I am now not sure given the salary difference.

The position at Google is more junior and the team is just being formed, which involves more risk. However, I like the team at the other company.

The difference in salary is really considerable to push me to rethink this. Is it worth it? Can you share your experiences of when you accepted a lower job offer and why?

Today i got my variable bonus of 10k, i get 59k inhand every month in which 2k gets deducted as tax, today along with the bonus of 10k I got 67k inhand and tax deducted is 4.5k. I'm kinda lost. Can someone pls explain y this?

Interviewing for Cyber Sec role. At very beginning they ask salary exp. I said usual way to postpone that question, and to figure out their range for role. On final interview and I mentioned 85-95k and they said it’s on the lower end for role…. Did I lowball myself?

Do Leidos, SAIC, and other mostly-fed consulting businesses pay bonuses to all levels? If so, what does a typical bonus target look like? Booz Allen does not pay bonuses until you get to the Senior Associate level (1 step below Director) and I think that impacts employee performance and work ethic pretty dramatically. I’m wondering if not paying bonuses is common to federal contracting because of how the contracts or priced, or if this is something unique to Booz Allen.

Had a first round interview scheduled for a large CPG brand. My interviewer never called me, and I emailed following up to confirm the call. It’s been over a day and no response. What is going on with recruiters? I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, but not even an email back saying “something came up” or “we’ve moved on” ? Saw my therapist this past Friday and he gave me a useful trick to build better behavior patterns. Whenever you have work to do but would rather nap or something, tell yourself 3 negative effects of the nap and 3 positive effects of doing the work. You might still take the nap, but if you can get in the habit of thinking of it negatively, you'll take less naps when you need to be doing other things.

Doesn't matter what the activities are. Could be working out vs eating more, could be socializing IRL vs wasting time in FB (lol)

I just learned I was parentified severely, especially emotionally. The discovery came from outside of therapy, but having a place every week to sit down, slow down & reflect def led to it. I’m 3 months into a new job where I work for a global tech company, and I want to ask for a pay review from my manager at the 6 month mark when I pass probation.
I know I’m going above and beyond my responsibilities as I’m not just managing projects, but I’ve also set up a global PMO governance board and have identified gaps within other teams where I’m assisting with the solution.
