Hi! (Asking for a mate) I'm curious to know what are people's thoughts on cybersecurity roles in London for a career switcher who has only done a bootcamp and less than a year in big4 consulting. They are looking to do less consulting and more technical roles. Also nervous about potential pay cuts seeing as they are older, and seems like the only thing widely available is SOC Analyst roles.

I currently work as a Contracted Software Engineer and I’m set to finish my contracted time at the end of October. We get about 3-5 requests daily to fill out salary certifications for our employees in EMEA.

At the moment, we have to do all of them manually. We open a pdf, then open their employee file and plug away. It's tedious and time-consuming, but the banks I found won't accept an internal salary certification for some reason. They're adamant about using their form. Has anyone come across this?
