Hi community, I am a fresher just passing out from an NIT. We around 20-30 people were selected at Optum for TDP-2. Now they mailed us including some othr colleges abt delayed joining and they jst mntioned it 2024. They didn't provided the date or month. Joining happens in June/July. Though some people hv joind in may and some'll join in July & Sept. guide me that they aren't planning to revoke it. I heard tht Optum hasn't done layoff and vry gud reputation. I heard from my head that there is a lot of slowdown in VW Germany... There is Hiring freeze, level freeze and all ... And soon that will spillover to india. How is it that every company complains they can’t find workers yet 9/10 posts on linked in the last few weeks are all about layoffs? And just taking a look at the jobs in your are…why does every job suck and want to pay you 45k?

Follow up post to my last post…My husband was laid off from the company where I also work. I am feeling really isolated / depressed about working and moving forward. I’m also getting to a stage where I’m really sad that people haven’t reached out to either my husband or myself to send well wishes or provide support. I felt like a walking zombie during thanksgiving, barely eating and barely talking. My family is small and I told them ahead of time my relationship ended. I focused on my niece and nephews, cried when I wanted to and slept from 8pm-noon for the last 5 days. Showered once or twice. That’s the best I could do and that’s OK right now. I’m back in my apartment, just trying to take it one day at a time, and not re read his texts too much. My birthday is Thursday 🙄
