I had an HR discussion at PWC UK 3 months ago which fell through and now I'm noticing any time I apply for a role there my resume doesn't clear the shortlist. Surprising cos I meet all the requirements

What are your thoughts about putting an explanation for the current gap (as in, I haven’t been working for several months) on your resume, LinkedIn profile or cover letter? If you think it should be included in one of these places, how would you do it?

My total experience is 5 in QA, I attended Deloitte interview. First round was technical and it went quite well, they asked lot of theory questions. I answered few and quite I was not sure of answers. She gave feedback like my communication and confidence level is good and project wise I'm having good knowledge and coming to concept wise it's not upto the mark for experience. So my query is will they call me for next round?I really wanna get selected since Deloitte is mydream company

A unit in TCS is trying to retain me saying if they revise the ctc (from their unit bugedt) and provide an Indonesian onsite opportunity, will you revoke your papers. Is it worth taking this chance? The team is very small of just 10 people and I am not sure how much will they provide for onsite. Pls advice as not a single question was asked in the interview apart from expectations.

For people with Non-technical backgrounds who are now Product managers in the Tech industry, what kind of resources did you use to prep for your interviews? I've had people recommend brushing up on cracking the PM code but there's SO MUCH information out there and it's hard to figure out if I'm looking at the right thing or not. Had an hr screen at pwc last week and was told someone would follow up for a technical screen. I still haven’t heard anything. How long does this usually take?

I saw some sales managers discussing hiring strategies, especially for entry level roles (e.g. SDR, BDR).

One strategy that came up was having the applicant do 90 minutes of cold calling into real prospects with the hiring manager coaching.

What do you think of this approach? Would be curious to hear from both hiring manager perspectives and from candidate perspectives.
