I am looking for a job as a clinical research assistant. I have never worked in clinical research before i feel that this position would be a good entry into the field. So far i have gotten a lot of rejection emails. Just looking for advice on how to increase my chances of getting into this position. I see with a lot of these jobs they want prior research experience is there maybe a lower level position than assistant? Your advice is appreciated!

I'm the only associate on a case with two partners. The elderly, managing partner thinks that a party has had three prior wrecks, I'm confident that the party only had one. I’m looking to transition from an academic medical center to pharma or a biotech. I have about 8 years of clinical research experience overall — 7 years combined as a CRC (CRC I, CRC II, and senior CRC) and 1 year as a PM. I’m also recently ACRP-CP certified.
