Hi everyone! I have an exciting interview for a legal assistant position next week. While this is my first time in a legal environment, I bring over a year of administrative assistant experience from my college job (I just graduated!).

Beyond that, my studies in political science and involvement in pre-law clubs have given me a strong foundation in legal concepts. I'm a bit nervous (it's a big step!), but I'm eager to learn and contribute. Any tips for someone in my position? Thanks!

Hi- I’m an hourly AA, been on the role for 6 months now and it’s my first AA job. I did not get a raise when I took the job because it was technically a demotion ( I was a team leader at a contact center). I assist two VPs and now they want to add a third because they’re looking for the “ 3:1 ratio “. Should I ask for a raise? Is this normal? I know another AA that handles 3+ people but idk if she’s hourly or salary. Any thoughts?
