Hi everyone, I wanted to pivot my career towards CRE. I have been really interested in real estate development and my end goal is to be at a company that focuses on sustainable/affordable housing.

I’ve been looking at courses in breakintocre.com but was wondering if anyone had any advice on what else I could do? Is there another Fish Bowl I should post in? I want to use this lull in the market to prep myself.

I'm a corporate recruiter with 3 years of experience. Finishing my degree in HRM 5/2022. I'm thinking of getting my SHRM -CP shortly after graduation.

Is it just me or are there entirely too many people in Business Services, specifically TC’s, who are just folks from client service that don’t want to deal with hours and travel anymore but have no formal training in the Business Services function they transition to? It seems to me very few TC’s are professionals in HR with any background, training or certifications in HR.

I need help figuring out if I’m being underpaid. I’m working on real estate private equity and I focus on fund models and property valuations. I’m currently base $80k with only 20% bonus.
