I’m currently working at a Big4 and I’m just miserable in terms of pay and general treatment at the company. The job market is really tough at the moment so I’m considering completing a PGCE to teach maths.

One big reason is the 43k tax free for the year which would really help my finances and that is not set on a career path yet so it would help in that sense.

Does anyone have any experience of returning to corporate after a PGCE and if it helps/hinders?

What if institutional investors really buy into futures and drive BTC really high, as opposed to short selling them! Anyone have FOMO?

Lateral that just went through first bonus season with the firm. Not in a major market but workload is comparable to major markets. Surprised at how low the bonus was. I received solid reviews and my annualized hours were well above the requirement. Should I approach anyone about this? Wondering if it is worth addressing or if it could compromise my standing. My work gives us points/money for achieving certain activities such as exercising for 180 mins per week. I have my Apple Watch automatically sync with the app that tracks our activities and it works great. Problem is I started using NRC (Nike run Club) app for runs and it interferes with the Workout app on my Apple Watch and it doesn’t get tracked.
