Hi everyone, so I graduated two months ago,
a BFA in Sculpture and a BA in Anthropology. I had a very well rounded internship in an arts non profit, even have a published piece under them. I have had professional experience in NY that included management of shops and artist assistance, I even went abroad to conduct an ethnography for my thesis, on the deans list, etc. I can’t even get a rejection email back. I’ve done everything I was told to do and crickets. How id everyone else feeling?

Hello! Any tips on entering mid law or in-house in Cincinnati graduation. Currently, a 3L at a New York school (not top ranked), 3.17 GPA. I do have good work experience working as a state judicial law intern, member of a hybrid SA program between my school and a big-law firm, and currently as an intern working on Smart Contracts and a legal advisor to the company’s CLM team. However, its been difficult to get my foot in the door and I am worried its because of grades. Can anyone provide advice?

Hi all - just joining and looking for some guidance! I am currently in an IT internship position (making pretty solid money considering) and following this summer I will stay on part time during my senior year (discussing a full-time job offer after already). I’m getting my computer science degree, so I would like to do something more technical in the workplace when I graduate. How do I advocate myself for that to my manager without sounding unappreciative of the position I’m in?

Got offered 68k after 2 years as a contractor (62.5k) doing project management/business admin in a tech department at a Fortune 500 bank. I have an A.S degree and working on my bachelor’s/masters may 2024. I negotiated to 84k NYC. I have seen interns get offered 38 per hour (79k) for internship positions with a similar role.

Thoughts? Should I go higher? I do my job well that’s why they decided to keep me as a contractor after my internship.

Hi, where or what types of companies should sophomores & juniors apply for next summer (2022) to recruit for IB the following summer (2023)? This summer BBs wrapped up SA IB recruitment, EBs even earlier, and a fair amount of my friends missed out big time.

Also, if a sophomore or junior doesn’t get a finance-related summer internship (I.e tech) and aims for an IB SA or FT position, is it harder to break in?

Junior copywriter based in Toronto here. Came to Canada about a year ago and did an internship at Klick Health.

Once it ended in late August, they didn't take on ANY intern full time. Been job searching for the past 3 months. Would really appreciate any leads/insight on some entry level gig or internship that might be available in this city. I know it's year end and it's hard, but I am still hopeful as I have seen people still get hired.

Does the current GSAP agreement say that if you intern at another consulting company it 100% certain that sponsorship is lost? Or does it say “may” impact sponsorship?

I graduated in May of 22. I transitioned from being an intern to being a full time counselor, now for 6 months. I feel like I might be catching my agency at a tough time, but as an employee it doesn’t seem to be trying anything to keep me here besides the occasional ‘motivational’ posts from the administrative team. Why companies don’t even consider candidates with OPT? :( I feel they really don’t even look at my candidate profile when they read I will require sponsorship in the future.
As a data analyst I have a STEM OPT that allows me to work here in the US for up to 3 years (a lot of time to prove myself or even pivot my career and change of company for them not to worry about sponsoring me) but still I feel they don’t care. MOST companies, I should say.

Just graduated with Aerospace Engineering degree. I am interviewing for multiple positions at once with different companies. One gave me an offer and they want me to get back to them within 2 days. I still have other interviews scheduled and some for higher paying jobs (around 90k) What should I do?
I do like the company that gave me an offer but their base pay was 80k and they went up to 85k. Is asking for them to match the 90k too much? The position is associate systems engineer.
