Hi everyone!

I have a Master’s in Commerce and I have worked as a Customer Support Executive and an Administrative Assistant for over 4 years. My previous employer filed for bankruptcy so I am unemployed right now. I want to start a career in bookkeeping and accounting. I have the knowledge but do not have much experience. Are there any startups in Winnipeg area who are willing to give me an entry level job as a bookkeeper or accounting clerk?

Currently completing my first year as Senior in Audit and its become pretty apparent that going through the whole manager pipeline isn't really what I'd like to do. Looking to explore options and would like to hear some real time figures, especially CF/MA and TAS - as I'm looking to make the pivot to IB hopefully in the future.

Thanks

I'm interested in consulting and think it could open doors for me to do something different after a few years. My main struggle is that I think I'm pretty old to make such a change (if I can get into consulting) ...not sure if anyone has a similar background that can share the insights.

Hi All! I recently started my own Private Equity firm. Searching for any big do’s, dont’s, or hard lessons you learned along the way. Do any veteran entrepreneurs/PE partners or staff members have advice they would like to pass down? As always, thank you all! 🐟

Looking to transition to a career in sales. Have been in Learning & Development for last 7 years. Eventually would love to blend the two but seems like the best way to do that would be getting more experience in sales. Does anyone have advice on where to look next? So far I’ve completed a sales training academy and over the summer got sales experience helping a coach scale their coaching program. Looking for full time opps with corporate company now.

I’m an analyst level on the pm team of separately managed equity accounts at my firm, looking to get more into private assets, does anyone have any suggestion of a possible path? Is getting to banking first inevitable? Thanks!
