I'm aware that the CAIA is not as popular in Asia compared to the CFA. From my knowledge, there are no CAIA holders in my current firm within the Asian region, despite dealing with alternative investments.

Would be happy to hear your thoughts regarding the CAIA, and study tips if you have any!

I recently received an offer from a competitor with a promotion to my existing role and close to 50% hike. PwC is about to file my I140 in premium now and now I am caught up in 2 minds. Would I wait for another 180 days to make sure that my I140 technically cannot be revoked or do i risk joining the new firm ? The new firm would start my GC process after 6 months of joining and my H1 max out period is in July 2024.

It's become clear the role is something I'm very well qualified for, but their pay expectations for the role are much lower than mine. I am an hourly employee. Currently if there is a hospital call that needs to be done, someone will volunteer to do it for overtime. Now, my company wants to create a set call schedule. If we get a call at 5pm, when my shift ends, can I still be required to complete the call? I will be paid overtime but don’t like the fact they will force it upon us.
