I’m in PA school now but in the process of interviewing for what might be my dream job in medical imaging industry. If I get the job pay will start around 120k at a large company with room for growth. If I stay in PA school I will have around 120k in debt and will probably work in vascular surgery. What would you do? It’s literally the second week of school for me, I have my 3rd interview for the job next week

Thinking about transitioning from advertising (10 years as a copywriter) into public relations. Has anyone in this bowl done that? What types of roles should I be looking for?

I have not been on a project for over 3 months. Since I joined, I have been put in training. The training got extended by a month and now it's close to 4 months since I joined and without a project.

What should I do? People say that I'm lucky to get paid without doing any work, but it is stressing me out. I need the experience. The uncertainty is freaking me out, with rumours of layoffs and the certification program and all.

What are your thoughts on the Scrum Master role? I’ve worked with a few now and out of 5 of them, only 1 seemed to be of any help. Most of the time we have to explain every detail multiple times and they still don’t understand what we’re doing. I feel that the role should be reserved for employees with experience in the systems they work in.

I love what I did in physiotherapy but two years into the career im struggling to see progression or long term future satisfaction. What have people shifted to from this career?

So I have been seeing a guy for 4 months. We have a pay disparity.. he earns less than I do (by quite a bit). For the people who earned the SHRM-CP, did you feel it was worth it? I have an indirect HR position, been applying for more HR focused positions and wondering if this would help. I got the CAPM (certified associate of project management) in December, but that hasn’t really changed things. Would love some opinions before working on another certification!
