Next day after the interview I had been asked to send the filled candidate info sheet, aadhar soft copy and updated resume. My expected CTC in CIS was a bit higher. Will it be a problem? I had mailed the same. Its been more than 2 weeks. I haven't received any communication from HR.. Do I need to enquire with HR?

I hate to see good people go because of money. Why don't the firms just pay them more? It's almost impossible to find new replacement managers and so it would be worth it to pay up.

For those who left public accounting for industry, how did you find your higher paying position? I’ve talked to a recruiter and haven’t been impressed with the roles presented.

Is this legal? My spouses company just decided to change their comp structure for account managers. It was base + comm, now it’s commission only but nothing changed, OT commission is the same, didn’t get more points, just took away the base pay and said work harder basically. So now they have to worker harder to get $50k they were already making. (Not a decision based on employee performance, they’ve been crushing it. I think the company is just trying to save money they overspent else where)

Next week I’m having my first lateral interview as a junior associate. I’m very nervous because the group with whom I’m interviewing works with life science/tech clients and the attorneys have strong science/tech backgrounds; and I do not. Hello, I am in USI GES tax at DUSI. I love my job but not my team and mgmt anymore. I'm a performer and I'm dumped with work of 2 ppl while others are searching for work. I am burned out.

I resigned and accepted a job with EY GDS with a huge pay bump that DUSI can't match but I also gave up my potential promotion for 2023.

I've been feeling bad about putting my papers down and letting go off my promotion but I am really tired. I took up this job as an escape.
