I graduated last year in MBA finance. I am currently working in the banking industry as a Relationship Manager, but i don't find the work very satisfying.
However, I am also unclear on what should I switch to.
I would really appreciate any suggestions on what other opportunities are there for MBA Finance students with 1 year work experience.

I’m an experienced candidate who recently got an interview at BCG. Assume I’m not successful and I were to go for a one-year MBA starting in the fall, will I get an interview even if I don’t do the GMAT? I heard MBBs like the GMAT for MBA candidates, but if I can get the interview without the MBA, will the gmat make a difference while I’m in the MBA?

Does anyone have thoughts on the differences between working for larger versus smaller Growth Equity firms? Especially as it relates to career progression, comp, work/life…. Thanks

Hey everyone - I could do with some advice. Not sure what I am doing wrong, but I am having a hard time getting interview calls. I am trying to pivot from consulting to the industry and targeting project/program management roles. Are alternative investments a good area to get started in? I’m making a career change from insurance and like asset management, possibly at Northern Trust. They have openings for alternative investment analyst and I wasn’t sure if that is a recommended area to start in or would that not allow for growth? I just don’t want to get stuck in a specialty and not be able to move up because of it. Any advice?
