I have 3 offers, one from BDO Rise at 38L Fixed + 5.23L Variable pay (senior manager), then one from Pearson India at 54 L ( 47 Fixed + 7L Variable Pay) , and one from Ferguson (ANSR GCC) at 52 L ( 45.5 Fixed + 6.5 Variable Pay). I know from CTC perspective, obviosuly Pearson looks great, however, I want to understand from Job security and people culture, and growth perspective. I am having 13 YOE in Data engineering and Business Intelligence.

Any guidance would be highly appreciated.

Thinking about going into public after 3 years of industry experience at a publicly traded company. I’m looking to expand my options for work in times like these.. has anyone had experience going from corporate to public accounting and have an idea of my chances of getting hired at a decent salary? Fellow enterprise tech sales fish, I’m interested to hear your perspective. I’ve been in a rut lately and seriously considering leaving sales. I think it’s primarily fueled by one thing:
After a 6 mo cycle I closed a large deal (4x the average deal size) prior to receiving delayed 2022 comp plans. The deal counts as a 2022 deal. On last years comp plan it would’ve paid out at 10%. This year it pays out at a measly 4%.

How do you/have you navigated your way through and out of these situations?

About to join a startup in a Head of People & Culture position (currently 50 people and growing to 200+ over next year) I do not hold a degree in Human Resources or equivalent but hold relevant certs/quals, backed by 8 years of experience in TA and generalist HR. Quick question.
I was a contractor for a big company and they just let me know that my last day is December 30th. I got this position thanks to a recruiting company that has been great and gives me benefits.
Should I:
- Continue working with the recruiting company, hoping that they will find another position for me? (as they told me they will, and when they applied me I started working with my current company within 2 weeks)
- Work with the recruiter + apply for jobs on my own?

How does contract to hire work? If I’m offered $37/hr on w2 for 3 months and then possibly a permanent position, how much can I expect to get annually as a full time company employee as a BI data analyst II? I have a M.S. and certificates in DA but this will be my first job as DA.
I prefer working for what is offered on contract without negotiating, and then negotiate when I transition into the company itself so I have a better chance of getting the contract position and show my skills.
