McKinsey & Company Hi guys. I have been applying for multiple open positions in EY and McKinsey & Company from September. I kept receiving career mails from EY, so I applied for a couple of positions every now and then. The thing is, I was rejected from a few positions. I received a mail saying that the requisition has been fulfilled. I did not attend any interview or call of any sorts. Does that mean I need to wait for another 6 months from applying?

I received a verbal offer for a VP position at CCB line of business at JPMC in NYC two weeks ago. The recruiter asked for salary expectations but there was no number set. It’s been two weeks since and complete radio silence. I sent an email to a hiring manager a week ago but received no reply. It’s August so people could be on vacation but this is really strange. I want to switch and I have a very good offer with me. However everytime I think about resigning I get scared and I’ve this slight hope of something good happening in my current org. The culture and environment in my current org is very good. However I don’t enjoy the work I’m doing here. I don’t know what exactly holds me back from switching but this issue has started affecting my mental health.
