Hi I feel like I'm stuck in my career.
I'm a physical design engineer (vlsi) in a service based organisation where there is no growth or learning. But had to do support projects for more than 16hrs a day and no weekend also.

I wanted to move to product companies like Intel Corporation Nvidia IBM Samsung NXP etc.. What should I do.

I am neither able to make time to prepare nor I have any references from these organisations. How can i grow in my career. I'm 33 years old now with 4+ years exp.

Considering a change from audit (SM) to an advisory role - looking at a Director position within Strategy, Finance and Accounting M&A. [Insert typical “should I make the jump” question here]. What is the longest you have seen someone with less than 50% utilization stay in a firm?

I see a lot of people saying that product managers don’t make as much as engineering managers, which is probably true at the middle management levels, but at the Director/VP levels it seems like product pulls way ahead. I’m trying to pivot from my current engineering manager position but want to make sure that I’m not making the wrong move. Opinions? Also, I don’t really care about prestige, since it seems like alot of people call that out on posts.
