Hi, I had interviewed for a position in EY GDS on 6th of June. On the same day, I received the CIS. I filled the form and later on 8th, I got a call from an HR discussing the salary details. The HR mentioned that she will get an approval for the salary structure and since then, I have been waiting for her response. On 12th June, a new requisition was created against my profile with background verification in progress. How long do I need to wait before getting a formal offer letter?

I interviewed at KPMG on 11/14 and got a verbal offer the next day but since then waiting to hear from them. Been following up continuously but the partners are not replying it seems. In the meanwhile i have an offer from BT offering 90k for 4 yrs of experience which seems to be fair. I am writing this message besides the staff group of EY GDS. Specifically Staff -1 at assurance level. I would request everyone to spare few minutes and read it -

Wanted to bring out that staff-1's are paid peanuts (3.33L CTC) please don't expect them to slog 12-13 hours. They don't have enough motivation or incentives to work that long. Seniors,AM's and Managers should be more kind and explain the work to them clearly rather than making last minute changes.
