I have an offer from Capco, it was much lower then I expected for the SC level EA at £80k. I'm at a stable role at a bank with a great WLB. My wife is a front line work. So I can take care of the baby, with the next coming soon. My dilemma is, become a consultant or stay where I am at. Consulting looks attractive as I would be speed up my career progression. Though the travel costs and child care does not warrant the base salary Capco Should I take the hit and join capco?

hi Recently I had an interview at Airbus for Technology analyst ii role. That was the final round but HR did not give me a number after my expectation and said that they would offer me as per company standard . can you tell me what is the pay scale at this position? this is for e2 level

Nothing. You can go for maternity happily. Inform your manager well in advance so that he can look for resource for project work.
Accenture has some good policies for maternity
- your hike won't be affected
- you will be tagged to same project and if on bench you will get priority for project
- Insurance covers upto 75k

Accenture is very good in these situtations. I have seen a girl oboarded on day 1 and going on maternity from day 2. It happened in my team. So dont worry just inform your manager and only thing you will receive is lot of wishes. Be relaxed and enjoy your happiness

I was pregant when my manager was announcing my TL promotion and with in few days i have told her i am pregnant it was pleasant response from my team .

This is an important life update and accenture will support you through this. Just have a word with your manager and let him/her know.
You still have 3-4 months before they need to find your replacement for the project. So, that shouldn't be an issue.
As per Accenture policiy, you can avail ML if you have completed 6 months in Accenture, in your case this condition is satisfied, 2ndly you should inform to any one in office 3 months before your Planned ML date, hence wait till that time. And last thing, your career won't be impacted at all, infact when you will join back after 8..9 months or any, same day they will tag you as returning mother for next 18 months, and a returning mother can work for 8 hours a day instead 9, several other benefits.
I am a new mom in Accenture, back to office post 9 months leave.
