Completed a process for a position about 2 weeks ago and haven’t heard back. They indicated it would be a lengthy turnaround given they are setting up a new fund and building the team top down. Would it be rude to ask for a timing/process update? Driver of me wanting to push is I have moved far along in another process and don’t think I’ll have much time to decide. The slower moving opportunity is more attractive to me but there would likely be one more round there to complete.

Management offered me a new role and training for it too, but I’m moving countries very soon like in 4 months so I rejected it and offered to stay in my same role. Though even in my same role they’re giving me an increase in responsibility + pay.

I work in a strategy role at a gaming company. While I have the designation of a manager, I am not managing anyone. They were going to hire people who I would manage but due to recession it’s not happening. I was earlier in consulting and left at the senior level. Need some advice, I’m an experienced audit staff looking to transition to FDD or Valuation after busy season. How do you deal when you know you’re just so burnt out? I feel it— everything is magnified, home life feels more chaotic. I’m looking for jobs. Getting nowhere and lots of automated rejection notes. I have joined IBM in July 2022. I haven't got any project till now. Skill set is PySpark, AWS, Spark, Hadoop, Hive, SQL. 2 Project interviews are done and they haven't considered my profile.

I have 7years total and 2.3 years Relevant Experience is there. Monday I have one project interview for Production support project. Is it good to go with Support project or shall I wait for a development role? Is it tough to get a project in IBM if you're hired a pool resource?

Have a few questions regarding IBM Joining, HR response is strangely lacking and so does in the slack(prejoin channels). Hoping can be cleared here..
a) I've been told virtual onboarding is no longer a thing.
How many days does in-person onboarding activities occur?
b) HR Informed,"After onboarding is complete, can get perm WFH based on project or extension of WFH as IBM is flexible"
Is this true? Can managers extend/grant remote for a month then let us transit to remote model?
