Any reason why you want to go through career pages? If referrals have worked for you (and I can attest to that - only RELEVANT referrals aka networking with the actual person hiring has worked for me) - why do you want to chase the more difficult option?

Haha okay. Definitely network and make it super targeted. Random referrals aren’t cutting it anymore especially when the hiring manager asks questions about the relationship with person who referred you 😂

I’ve shared on FB before but here goes.
Its a numbers game. You can be extremely qualified for roles and still face endless rejection. For me I did 300+ applications over 7 months for about 10 interviews and 3 offers, one of which was insultingly low.
I tell you this not to dismiss the emotional aspect here. Researching companies, talking to employees, customizing my resume to receive 297 rejections was really tough for me.
I eventually got in with a blind application, probably applied 48 hours after posting. Having done a few referrals and reached out to hiring managers, my sense is candidate selection happens at the end of the first week. My suggestion is to have a few standard search parameters, and check back every week
