Hi I'm a legal secretary for with 19 years of experience 11 yrs workers comp law & asbestos; 5 years litigation personal injury 1 yr construction defect.
I'm in a small dilemma I got two job offers one in personal injury which includes 2 wks vacation & separate sick time... The other is employment law & personal injury which $8K more than the other, 3 wks vacation, and separate sick time, covered parking & 6 miles closer than the other firm closer to home.
I'm not sure what to do.

Entry level cloud engineer salary range for ease coast ?

As a Cybersecurity Analyst I make right under 80k in total compensation (62k Salary, 17k Bonus). I have two years of experience, an Associates in Networking and a Sec+ cert, does everyone feel like this is a fair compensation based off my credentials and experience?

I’m in a little of a pickle but a good one. Offer A. Established “start up” doing well financially and projected to hit profitability. 130k base. Stocks offered, unlimited PTO, and 70% Medical covered. Offer B. Is at a business much larger…90k salary with 10% bonus and generous stock offering. Titles are different which is why the pay is much different. Workout before (4:30 am) or after (6:30ish) work?

Transactional associate. Lateraled 6 months ago and one of the biggest pain points has been my new firm’s inclination to “hop on a call”, which of course requires every single stakeholder to join. The end result being every call has 25 people on it and nothing actually gets done because no one wants to ask a question that could come off as silly. It’s destroying my ability to get anything done during the day. It’s a complete performance and it drives me nuts.

Last associates committee meeting is coming up. Partners have asked each associate to come up with... not one... but FIVE marketing ideas. Other than reeling out “we offer competitive pay” in job postings, what are some good ones your firm does?

I am concerned with fulfilling billable hours requirement. I’m required to hit 2100 hours yearly and I’m at ~1,500 hours and I think I’ll hit 150-180hours this month. What will happen if I don’t hit my targeted amount by the end of my year.

1) Am100 firm with 1900+ billable hour requirement, very reputable in the region
2) Am200 firm with 1750+ billable hour requirement, less reputable in the region because it’s a satellite office, pays $35k less than option 1
