I’m looking to pivot into consulting but not sure how and would very much appreciate any advice on the best ways to go about it.

I graduated with a Community Health degree in spring 2021, I was 20 yo. Since then, I’ve worked as a Paralegal and as an Administrative and Financial Operations Associate. Both roles are heavily customer facing roles and also require management, organizational skills as well as customer consultations.

Im 23yo now and want more out of my career. Please advise

Anyone here that completed Udacity data analyst nano degree program? I feel that it would be a great way to get into the DataAnalytics practice or find exit opportunities in the industry? Thoughts? I am a first year Senior Consultant.

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

I left biglaw after 3 years to a mid-size firm. Took a pay cut but the hours, people, culture and work were so much better I never thought twice about the salary or “prestige.” Ultimately I started 2 very small firms. I am not rich by biglaw standards but I have a very comfortable life and put my kids through college with no debt. 35 years after leaving big law, people are still impressed when I say I started there. I feel like I still had the benefits of the connection w/o the suffering.

I am currently working as Branch Manager (scale-2 officer) in one of the leading public sector banks and have 5 yr experience in core banking. I am having 2.5 years experience in the IT sector on vision plus as a software engineer (before joining the bank). I have knowledge of core banking as well as good knowledge of banking tools like finacle, caps, imac etc. I want to switch to private financial institutions.

Question! I just moved(transferred) to another team of my company and received new title, graphic & creative services. I was a senior graphic designer at the previous team. What do you think about my new title? I know that title is not a big thing but why I feel like my title is downgraded here… Good thing is my jobs here at my current team are what I really wanted to do. This is amazing. Getting an interview as a clinical app specialist for a radiology PACS company. Nervous to leave the clinical side but at the same time can’t wait. Have any rad techs/clinical people made the switch from clinical to tech? Do you recommend it?

I currently work in commercial banking and have been contemplating the switch to private credit / direct lending. Right now I’m struggling with where we are in the economic cycle as I feel private credit is less secure in downturns but would give me more career upside.
