Recently got a contract job at Facebook NY. I’ve mostly only been a FTE for the entirety of my career, so a bit nervous as I want to eventually be offered FT but feeling a lot of pressure to perform for the next 5 months to prove my worth. Which company is better in terms of job security, work life balance. That's the top most factor I am considering. Last week I gave 4 rounds of interview with JPMC for the Associate position for WM division.
Last Friday I received email from HR asking last 3 payslips, and all info related to pay along with the ECTC and resume and gave everything over the weekend.
I gave expected as 30 fixed and currently at 20.8 fixed with 4 YoE in analytics and DS and overall 5+.
Still haven’t heard back from the HR.
What are the chances of extending an offer and on portal showing “Under Consideration for interview”

I joined pwc last month, and absolutely hating it here. Each weekend has been working, 12-15 hours work day is minimum expectation. And there's extreme hierarchy, where even after you spend 24 hours working on something, the director decides he wants something completely different and you delete and restart. (Note that you request them to review and give their pov earlier on, but they never take the time out)

What has been difficult for you in the endeavor to complete half your deen?

She just got her EAD and is looking for jobs, open to switch profiles as well. Do you think she would fit in for any role here in Seattle, WA? She has been a star performer and promoted twice in the last 3 years. One problem is companies look for US experience which she does not have, we just moved here early this year.

We all know- SIP of 50k/pm for 15 years at a CAGR of 12% p.a. grows to 2.52 Crs ( approx.). BUT

Do you know- If we delay it by just 2 years- the value falls to 1.88 Cr ( approx.) Difference is a WHOPPING 64 LACS, though the difference in Investment amount is only 12 lacs!!

I’m doing my first UX portfolio on Wix. I have the case studies content drafted out, but I’m struggling with brainstorming wireframes/actual UI for my case studies. I make it a rule to look for dribbble/behance for inspo but only sketch when im not looking at things because I don’t want to copy directly.

I’ve tried using paper/thin markers highlighters, tried using procreate, and also illustrator/photoshop & a tablet. I keep running into issues where I feel overwhelmed. How do I simplify this?

Hey! I'm just about to start doing some freelance work for a NYC based boutique design studio, and I need to give a hiring manager my hourly rate to give his customers. I am new to UI/UX design. I have experience in graphic design, but I just completed a certificate in UI/UX design so other than school projects I don't have an extensive amount of experience. What would you suggest I should charge? I am more interested in gaining experience than needing the money, but want to be payed reasonably.

What's the protocol for adding internal portal mockups for a client to your portfolio? Is it expected, something that requires asking permission but is still generally OK, or frowned upon? I'm a developer trying to pivot to UX.

Nothing in the contract bc our SOW was originally dev only. If I need permission, I have a good rapport with the Corp Comm director and VP so would I contact them on LinkedIn, or is this something that's normally done through the employer?
