Off topic: I am stuck in a service based company for last 4 years in a shitty project. The work I do can be done by a 12th grader. Now i want to move out by learning something new & changing my domain. But the thing is I am not able to study because I am stuck in a comfort zone and learning new thing gives me bad anxiety. Good morning. I am currently a senior associate in BugLaw, and I have applied to several trial attorney jobs in Chicago offices of federal agencies since the start of the pandemic. According to usajobs.gov, my applications to the DOJ and CFTC were “referred,” and my application to the SEC was received and my GS scale verified. But I haven’t received any updates on these applications in over a month. Does anyone here have any insights on these or on federal hiring generally? Thanks!

Don't just see ooh its google project it would be good. Google only passes on leftovers or can say not at google level projects to globallogic or other companies so they can work on main stuff.
I mean it will not equivalent to an google SDE level project

Don’t fall for this trap they are selling you the google project/office while paying you the same as current CTC. You wouldn’t know the quality of work on this project or for how long this would go on

Go for permanent role on company payroll.. Tomorrow if google decide to close the contact with GL, you will be laid off immediately without any second thought.
Dont go for Globallogic and google projects are very short term project once completed then u r outoff google account so as per my experience harman is good for work life balance and globallogic is hire and fire company so do not try for this risk
