Hi friends, I have an offer from TCS giving 30 percent raise. Can anyone provide some insights on TCS culture? Will it be considered a bad move to from EY to TCS and look bad on CV. Some of my colleagues suggesting that not good idea to go from BIG 4 to WITCH. Thoughts please.

My joining date in Cognizant is 14 sep as Senior project associate. Recently they have revised my offer with increased salary. Can any one give some idea on this, why it’s all happening?

Is it misleading to just look at Total Compensation from a $ dollar value/ Total Compensation seems to be much more subjective than base salary in terms of its value. Some factors might be:

RSUs granted on dollar value or by # of shares & stock price trends
Vesting schedule
strike price on ISOs & delta between strike price and real market value

For instance, most of value in Amazon's comp seems to be granted in years 3 & 4, but it's well known that most people last only 2 years max there.

Interested to know: how nervous do you feel about losing your job during these strange days? And do you feel like your company is taking advantage of that at all, knowing you won’t leave?
