Hi guys, I got a feeling that big 4 or T2 companies kinda quiet in jakarta as opposed to MBB where they conduct lots of recruiting events (management consulting). Any reason for that particularly or maybe big 4 prefer internal hiring only?

Are you supposed to receive a signing bonus for an entry level job at MBB?

Consultant based in North America, planning to move to Saudi. Anyone in MBB/OW Riyadh offices open to a coffee chat and/or willing to provide a referral?

Do MBB also consult companies like Google, Apple, goldman Sachs, etc on strategy topics? I seem to never have heared...😐

Currently at MBB with ~3.5 years of consulting experience and interested in making a move into PM position at tech. Worried that I would have difficulty even securing interviews. Has anyone in this bowl been in a similar position and can provide some perspective/ advice? Another piece of context is I’ve been doing product development/ PM work on my current job for ~7 months now, so want to use that experience to get a PM level role instead of starting fresh from APM

Mgr at D & hoping to move over to MBB for a variety of reasons.

Should I target Manager or Associate level? Hear it’s tough to build up a network the M level at MBB and that consultants move 1 level down when moving over.

Is this truth to this or just disguised elitism lol?

Graduating with PhD in comp neuro next year. I just did a week long internship at MBB to check out consulting, which I loved but ultimately will not be accepting my offer for life considerations (my wife also works at MBB and we have young children). It was amazing getting a sense of what the work actually comprises.
