Hello... I have cleared three rounds of interview and my recruiter said I am still in contention for the Job position at Deloitte. However, I don’t see things going progress since 2 months. My last round of interview was on 10th April. But since then the only email which got was that I am in contention but no updates. I’m not sure what exactly the process would be! I don’t know when will they even do my background check... I don’t want to miss an opportunity with Deloitte.

Can someone in their mid 30’s change careers and start in tech as a SDR? I’m trying to get a SDR gig, always get interviews but never offers. Seems like all of their SDR team are recent grads. Are tucks MBB numbers really that good? I saw a student on Reddit say about 35 mbb internships were granted in their year out of about 150 applicants (70-90 interviews per firm). Not sure what to make of this. Additionally, is it true that the battle is to get interviews and once you get one, then it’s just a matter of you performing (I.e., you’re no longer competing against classmates)?

Hello fishes, Hope everyone is fine. I have a doubt to get clarified on it. My current CTC is 6.5L with 5 YOE working as Build & Release engineer. Recently I was offered onsite opportunity to Canada and it's in progress. As of now they told me this is a 6M-1Y deputation and may extend in future. My concern is let's say in worst case if I return to India after 6M/1Y and when I start looking for job outside as Devops engineer what CTC i can put forward in the interviews for 6-7 YOE. Thanks !!

I had a call with a team member for a position I'm in the interview process for (soon to have a call with the recruiter). The person seemed passive aggressive during the call and hung up on me before I was able to say thank you for his time or bye. I didn't have my interview yet but I was told that this call is known to the team and the recruiter.
