Hi All, newbie here to real estate investing. I have a primary with about $180k in equity and want to A) Get a larger primary in about 12 months and B) Acquire a cash flowing rental asap. Would you try to cash out refi and buy an investment property now; cash out and rent out your current place and buy a new primary or sell your current place and try to get buy a small investment and a new primary?

Capital one giving $450 bonus if you move $50,000 into the account. Question: they said only new money qualifies. I had moved some money from cap one to chase on may 3. Can i just move that money back to capital one and get a bonus? Or would it count as “old money” and disqualify me from bonus since im just transferring the funds back to capital one from chase? Does anyone have family members who constantly demand money because they feel like you’re rich now because you’re a lawyer? I’ve always wanted to be in a position to help my family but we all live in the high COL city so my salary doesn’t carry me as far as it would elsewhere.
