Why can't you go and read the policy? Don't you know how to read ?

like

Yeah put 6% of your salary if you want them to max the match. Not sure how match changes after several years

like

(1) It doesn't change.
(2) To max out match, you need to contribute at least 6%.
(3) You should contribute at least 6% so you don't lose out on free money, but what specific amount you should contribute depends on your individual situation.

like

Ya if that's what you want

Should consider total comp. 6% is only being taken on salary so you want to get the match on variable comp as well.

ey2 that's what I thought, but just want to confirm.

Match changes to 50% after four years of service

thanks very much everyone

Yup at least 6% to get the full benefit.

Let me know what certifications you plan to take or already took in a program manager role, why you took that specific certification, any benefits you received after taking that exam and how difficult was the exam etc.,

Lot of fear in the market right now (understandably so). The situation in Ukraine is awful and the potential consequences are scary to think about.

There are some who want to sell in fear of their investments falling further. Do not do this. Hold and continue to buy more. Continue your 401k contributions, and add whatever you can afford after every paycheck into your brokerage. Those who sold the covid crash were often late buying back in.

This is the dip you're worried about.

My main partner says it should end in the next month, but I don’t expect that to happen. Is it a terrible idea to ask to be taken off?

Has anyone ever posted a general marketing position? We have an open position on our marketing team but we are unsure what type of position to offer. We have a wide variety of needs but don’t necessarily need to have this future person have all these skills. For example we need someone with great copywriting skills and also need someone who is great at digital marketing. This person doesn’t necessarily need to have both skills but if they did great, but if only one, great too.

So someone I know asked HR about a boot policy. When he found out that there wasn’t one, but his boss said there was (who gave the guys $ for boots and the claimed it on his expense reimbursements as something else) the boss got mad at him for askingHR (and in trouble for the expense reimbursements) and then 2 days later laid off my friend. There appears to be no notice of bad performance and this person always was the first person on the job site ready to work. Thoughts?

At what point in your career do you think you find out if you are actually on the partner track or not? For reference, I just got promoted to manager and get lots of talks about “things I should do as I continue to progress through the firm”, but I wasn’t sure when or if this is communicated to people in more certain terms.
