I've been one to live well beneath my means for years but I've been even more attentive to keeping my costs down and increasing savings the past 6 months. We can only influence certain things but I'm doing what is within my ability.
Keep your expenses low, savings account full, and resume fresh

Avoid debt
The current times are decent, when you compare them to the financial crisis in 2007-2008, covid, or the dot.com bust. While things are still okay, bulk up your emergency fund, pay down debt, and maybe sell a small percentage of your winning stocks to lock in some gains.
I have a low cost home in a remote area where hopefully I can steer clear of the riots and civil enforcement
The economy is fine. Invest in the market.
Unemployment is at 4.3% - a similar percentage over the past decade. Keep cryin’ though.
