How are you all dealing with testing anxiety? I know I know my stuff, but the anxiety is killing me.

They’re literally doing a seminar on test anxiety this week in that Facebook group. Try and go

Have you taken one yet? That did it for me. Once I took the test I realized it wasn’t as bad as people make it out to be.

I meditate and pray. Also, I keep reminding myself that worry and anxiety will do nothing to change the results, so I need to let things go and just focus on the task of doing my best. If you are well prepared, you should be fine!

I just keep reiterating that all I can do is my best. If I do my best it's all I have and everything else is out of my control.

I book my exams for 12:30 and ask them to let me know when my seat is ready. Usually they call me around 10ish, and I get down there by 10:30 or 11:00. It's nice to breeze through all the admin stuff without having to wait in line.

Thankfully, I have a perscription for anxiety meds, but there are still times when it doesn't do much. I don't think it'll go away until I get to take the test.

I know everyone will have different answers for this but how did you know it was time to get sober? I think it might be time for me to find a new job and pursue sobriety, but I don't feel like I'm a rock bottom which is the only time I've ever seen people really commit to it (my father). Apathy isn't the right word but I just kind of feel numb about everything and I think being sober would maybe help.

I’m around 21 weeks and have been dealing with a lot of leg, tailbone, back, and general muscle pain. Since I do work long hours Monday- Wednesday (10hr +) I’m trying find a comfortable chair to switch to. Any recommendations? Currently I’m switching every hour or so between my kneeling chair and standing.

Has anybody else experienced (what seems like) irreversible physical damage from working long hours? I worked about a month of 19 hour days 2 years ago (this was the peak of the season where I worked at least 12 hours a day) and my facial skin hasn't really recovered and the experience really aged me.

What do you guys think about apps like BetterHelp and Talkspace? I understand they might have real therapists working on their content, but a lot of the marketing I see is so vague and broad that it feels like a lie. Seems like "This app got rid of my anxiety with a 30-minute automated text questionnaire" is the new "This tea made me lose 20 pounds in two weeks!" Just seems a little fad-like and money grabby to me. Thoughts?

I was supportive of Lori when this virus first started but her actions since have dwindled my support of her. I don’t expect her to make every decision correct nor do we have to agree with all of them. I believe she should be correct around 75 percent of the time but I believe she is in the 50 percent range. I know everything doesn’t fall on her shoulder but things haven’t been great as of late. Hopefully they figure out something soon.
