Have you considered changing your focus from caloric intake to meeting your macros? Another thing to consider is the timing of your meal. Slow down. Chew slowly. Savour the flavours and how fuelling your body makes you feel. It takes 20 minutes for the stomach to tell the brain it is full. By slowly down, you give the body time to communicate when it’s reached its limit. It also takes 2 hours for the stomach to empty. How much time between dinner and the last meal? You may want a snack in between so your body isn’t desperate for fuel. Also consider your water intake. Your body may be craving water.
Haha the meme is so real. I wouldn't worry too much if you know you're still in your calorie deficit. It's hard not to eat a large meal for dinner especially when it's so cold, I would say, don't worry about it. Are you still losing fat or weight? If not, maybe you need to watch your portion a little more and move that towards lunch when you have a stronger metabolic fire.
You're stressing about something you don't need to if you're still staying on target with your daily calorie goals. Calories in, calories out is really all that matters at the end of the day.
As long as your in a calorie deficit you should be fine but if it bothers you, try increasing your other meals. Maybe you’ll be less hungry at night.
Focusing on my protein during the day helped me a lot with not being starving at night. There are a lot of things you can try like that. I know everybody swears by something, I just focus on my daily calories. If eating a big dinner is what works for you, that is OK too. Don’t have to force something else just because.
