Hello 🦈s,
Role: SAP ABAP
Current: 8 LPA
I am having offer from LTI for 10.5 Fixed & 1 Mouritech for 12 LPA Fixed.
I have also cleared PwC India interview & HR has told me that they can give me 10.5 as Fixed (Before 12 offer). I have not yet received the offer letter.
Now my question is will PwC consider this offer for the re-negotiation? Or will they not release the offer letter itself?
Also what should be my ask for a SAP ABAP Developer with experience of 3.3 Years?
Thanks in Advance 🙏

Don't bring it up as a comparison to their wage, bring up your pay based on your own qualifications, experience, and contributions. When you ask for a raise, ask for your pay to be brought up to what is in line with market value in your area, and don't mention the coworker at all.
Excellent advice. Never compare yourself to other employees.
I don't think tha sounds greedy at all. You should be paid more than that person point blank period. I would just have an open and honest conversation with our supervisor.
I appreciate that. How would you bring it up organically in conversation? I do meet with our operations director weekly to go over support staff needs and to get info from leadership. She is really my go-between and I know she's in my corner but I don't want to misstep.
It’s essentially a discussion about getting a raise. You want the company to bring wages upto market value for someone at your level. You can also bring up that the company needs to review their processes for making sure that other people are getting market that and it can not just be based on yearly raises at whatever %. At my firm, our management does periodic reviews of market so they can then raise everyone’s salary based on market. For example recently the entry level market in our city went up 10k, that mean people who has started 2 or yrs ago would have been paid less than them. So the firm adjusted all the salary bands accordingly.
Do your research first to make sure that your salary is "up to snuff" with market value. That way, it will be all about you and won't come across as "gossipy" because you know what the new hire is making. Know your worth. Good luck!

My only response that I have is what comes to mind from my own previous experience. Matthew 20: 3-13. I remember I thought this too. But even back then and still today I am reminded of what the LORD showed me in His word way back then. Especially now (because things have gotten so financially tough) when I start thinking like that again. So, it keeps me humble.

I agree, a managing or supervisory paralegal role usually pays more than less senior paralegals make. I find this very odd and I def. think you should take this up with your boss. Your position is top of the line as far as the paralegal totem pole goes. I have NEVER made more than my paralegal supervisor; your situation is almost unheard of. Good luck!
You already noted that the new paralegals pay is commensurate with her skills, so the issue is not "fairness" at your firm among staff.
If you are not getting paid commensurate with your market value then that is the conversation that you need to have.
