How do I get my coworker off my project?!??!? My coworker begged to jump on a project I was working on. I agreed not knowing that she’d try to steamroll me on the whole project!!! She’s been doing a lot of thing but the biggest one was emailing outside resources that we needed to contact to further the project on her own, not cc’ing me on the email and then when we have a meeting with the directors to update them on our progress, im blind sighted and look like I don’t know what I’m doing.

My boss (atty) is so disorganized! I’ve been with him 6 months and he’s having a hard time delegating, sharing info and managing deadlines. I’ve organized the caseload to manage the deadlines. He says he wants me to help with discovery but when I offer to start on one, he says he needs to do it. (Since he might have to present as evidence) When I give him deadlines and ask for the docs he says he’ll get to it. It’s a small 1 man firm, and I’m the first assistant besides his wife. Any advice?
