Hello All,
I have applied for real estate valuations roles in Deloitte USI almost a month ago. I haven’t received any response since then,
Can anyone help me on how can i process my application for these roles. Is there a route of referral to get my application considered?
Also, long does it take further?

Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

9/10 it’s the manager.

Clearly something is very wrong with the role, or the manager overseeing that role.
Be candid in the exit interviews and fix it before it costs you any more money / time.
90% of this is usually caused either by a bad manager or a role that’s overtaxed and overloaded.

Piece of cake. Low stress, 8.5 hour days most days, competitive pay, treat them as stakeholders, give them autonomy and allow them to do steer their career. Be a resource and a help. Be professional.
And hire people who've been around, who've earned this respect, who do good work you don't need to micromanage, and who truly appreciate it.

As a candidate? As a manager? As an onlooker?

How did the exit interviews go? That’d be my first stop. In advertising, I feel like it’s usually that people are either overworked or under appreciated. Or underpaid.
If there’s a pretty big gap experience-wise between the leaders and the doers, you might not be able to empathize as well as you think. This happens a lot in agencies when the leaders are from one generation (for example Gen X) and the doers are from another (millennials) Find someone in-between that you trust to help process what they need and translate that to you.
