Gonna need a little more detail/context. In general, I'd say ignore, but if you can share some examples of what you're dealing with, you will probably get better advice.

You don’t! Keep interactions to a bear min and focus on you and showing class.

If they're being really crass, just ignore them. Pretend like they're not even there. If their crassness is making you uncomfortable, report them to your manager. They will deal with the situation appropriately.
Thanks for the advice, unfortunately they are a director so will probably go with the former to the extent I can.
