Hello all,
I am currently in the process for interviewing for a role at Amazon for their office in Basildon in corporate (HR if it wasn't implied by my title). Spoke to the recruiter and on my application it will be £55k base but wondered what level is that and what leeway I have for bonus (sign on) and what is the RSU looking like. I am also needing some help if possible please on the interview process as I would really like to get this since it is my dream job.
Any help appreciated.

Not sure what region you're in but you shouldn't need a recruiter to find entry level / 1-2 year experience industry positions. Recruiters aren't really interested in helping you since they get a set percentage of starting salary for whoever they place and obviously they focus on higher level positions for that reason. There are plenty of online resources to peruse to find something out there at your level....glassdoor, indeed, linkedin, monster, etc etc. there are plenty of roles out there at your level in any major metropolitan area.
If you're looking for an fp&a role as a tax experienced associate, you're basically entry level, regardless of your excel skills. Id play down the tax experience and play up the PA experience on your resume/ discussions with potential employers.
He said experienced associate ^
The "tax industry roles" was pretty clear...
Also the "tax industry roles as an experienced associate"
An exp assoc in PUBLIC to go to INDUSTRY. Reading comprehension.
Are u a non-public accountant looking for a tax role in public accounting? Do u have ur cpa? What salary are u looking for? Those are the main reasons why u wouldn't be able to find anything as there are so many openings in public accounting
I am looking for industry not public....
Not sure ur age, level, or experience but maybe find an internship or ask a recruiter. The thing is a lot of companies want someone who can hit the ground running and usually grab PA people who don't want to do the hours anymore.
Doesn't define much in industry. A blackstone associate is comparable to a PA senior due to their leveling system. Also there are ppl with years of work experience but want to get into a certain place/industry and want to get in on the ground level but are ruled out because they are overqualified or too expensive
Not sure why it posted twice. Sorry about that
Seriously? Where in ur OP does it say public? Anyway I'm sure someone will help u out so gl
Thanks User2 for actual advice & reading the post 😊
