Need help in transitioning to Tech - I'm M2 and been in consulting for 4 yrs. Primary role Functional / BA and have done PMO work. A lot functional work for practice development, recruiting, etc. Technical skills no hands-on coding. I'm looking at Program Manager or Product Mgmt roles. Am I on the right track? What can I do to make my profile attractive to tech companies?
Had a recruiter from a really big company call and ask for feedback about my interview after getting rejected. Greatest recruiter I’ve ever encountered in my life (dealt with over 20 recruiters).
Hi Fishes, KPMG Global Services vs Deloitte USI For SAP functional consultant, which one is better? I have interviews lined up for both the organisations in few days.
Chances for HBS/GSB? URM, 3.8 engineering from large state school, 720 GMAT, will have 3 YOE in consulting and on track for manager promotion by the time of applying. I’d say ECs are ok, but recommendations are strong. Already took gmat twice and don’t think i can feasible raise my score to match the school averages.
I was fired last month after a short time at the company. I knew things weren't going well- it was a terrible culture fit & I was also planning my exit strategy. They wouldn't give me specific reasons other than to vaguely say it was performance related. I agree I made a few dumb mistakes (none of any dire consequence) but what kills me is that I tried really hard. I don't want to change careers but I have a deep seeded fear that no matter how hard I try, I will never be a "good attorney".
Is it possible to make a million in any sales position? I see so many classes and books on how to be a millionaire by selling. Seems like BS.
Help! I have just been offered a internal promotion, no discussion of money yet. Job is remote w/ 50 percent travel. I just turned down an external role offering 150k base because I didn't want to go back into supervising others I live in Atlanta, client is also in the south. I would supervise/support a small team. Currently at 120k, MPA and 8+ years experience (in govt.) PMP exam Q1. Important to note, client is very challenging, people have noticeably fled accross many teams. How much????

Just realized I forgot to put my minor on my resume (Business) and only listed my major, but the minor is on my transcript which is included in all my applications. I’ve interviewed for some spots and waiting to hear back but now I’m scared that this oversight will cost me😭
Accepted an offer to join a consulting firm as a graduate next year but have been offered an interview with a competing firm (MBB). Is it a terrible idea to go through with the interviews and potentially reject the original firm? Or am I junior enough that it isn't so much of a big deal?
Automatic red flag to have an engagement kickoff just before the holidays, receive emails at all hours of the day (to include weekends/holidays), be told there’s a lot to do but “it’ll be a great opportunity”, and then be told leadership wants people to prioritize work life balance? Figured I’d be looking for an exit soon, but this just pushed it up.
Went to an interview and immediately noticed a bunch of red flags about the company. I sat through a 2 hour long boring meeting, and I was wondering how bad it would be if I just left immediately, saying I wasn't interested?
Any one who has done CSCP certification and can help guide through the exam preparation ?? Does it help when applying to MBB??
What are the role titles I should be searching for in industry that have equivalent or greater pay than consulting roles? I need something low key or slower paced than the Big 4 that focuses on strategic communications or learning development.
Mckinsey fishes: how common is it to be pulled for a specialty function BA position out of undergrad? Have an upcoming interview with McKinsey but not sure why one of the offices that expressed interest to interview me is considering me for a specialty function rather than general BA (of course, I indicated my interest in that practice). I thought that peoples resumes would be forwarded only to one office, but to my surprise (and delight) my second choice office also indicated interest to interv

Hey Everyone!! My name is Goyaam Jain. I have been working with many new startups, and found out that many new startups are just following the trend of having a startup instead of actually solving a problem or understanding what is actually meant by a startup. If you are a startup and solving a problem for people, I would like to share your story to them, inspire them to follow the true path of entrepreneurship. An example of an interview youtu.be/vyfaMJeXVSk If you are interested to share your story, ping me

Any single moms who raised boys? My first kid, I grew up as an only child with no brother, and really clueless as to how to raise a boy. I’d have an easier time with a girl since I kinda know how
Few weeks back it seemed like offices are about to open up but now with the 2nd wave, is any Big 4 going ahead with those plans? Asking because I'll join PwC India Mumbai in April. Would prefer to not relocate immediately if wfh is getting extended.
I’ve had a lot of rough patches in life, but I don’t think my anxiety has manifested to the degree that it’s recently become since I’ve been on the bench
My previous employer used Fidelity and I have some 401k balance. My new employer uses Vanguard, so I don’t think I can transfer the balance out, right? What can I do in this case? Thanks so much!
Best 401k deals among big4? Curious where everyone's benefit program lies based on firm.
You'd think I'd be used to waking up alone every morning by now! The loneliest part of WFH. :(
Which companies would be the best to work for who hire remote and will not underpay employees based on location? 4YOE working remotely and Willing to put the hours, just wondering where my time would be best allocated. Thanks in advance!

MBB associate with undergrad degree in economics. Loved the degree, though didn’t do much with it outside of class (spent summers on internships, didn’t write a thesis). If I want to do something related to economics, how can I best leverage my current background to do so? Would MS in Econ make more sense than an mba? Maybe MS in stats or data science? Does the MBB background help in any way?
This horse has been beaten to death but suggestions on Amex Plat vs Brilliant for Marriott loyalists? I already have Gold that gives 4X on dining and supermarkets (my biggest expenses) and don’t wanna part with that. No I don’t want CSR, thank you.
I'm up for a pharma agency senior CW role in the Rx/HCP vertical. I have been freelancing for 11 years, so mostly contract rates between $50 and $80 p/h (lower end on W2, higher 1099). They want to know my 1099 rate and salary requirements if full-time employee. Would $75 hourly and $110K be within range? They are in Philadelphia. I have been working in the Chicago, San Fran, and NYC markets mostly.
Do MD’s at PwC’s get a pension at retirement (I saw a post from some ED at EY talking about a pension)? Or does the firm just give contribute to the RBAP - and the MD needs to figure out the rest ?

Can someone share their experience. I just wanted to make sure they do what they say. Deloitte
