"Making peace with work often requires a delicate internal trade-off. It’s about finding roles where the personal or societal value of your contribution outweighs your awareness of an imperfect system. While the old adage says, 'Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life,' well I forget who originally said that, we know the reality is far more nuanced. I offer this perspective from a place of peace, acknowledging that finding that balance is often easier said than done. Final thought, actually from Yeshua Ben Joseph or who some people call Jesus, shift into a state of gratitude, where it's rather difficult to be upset or angry, at least not for long.

Make peace with it? Why would I expect someone else to take care of me? Work. Create. Enjoy. This is life.
Notice the people who say it’s the poster’s fault.
Whose fault is it?
Well, I do agree that if you feel life is only work and struggle, you could make changes, I also think there is a simpler answer. Pick your head up and look around you for moments of joy… They are everywhere. There is beauty all around us. Some find it in nature, some find it with children, some find it looking up at a skyscraper, sometimes to literature or pushing their body from a fitness perspective. My point is no change will magically make you feel better. You have to find the joy in the immediate.
And if that fails… Go with the blow and hookers option.
Of course there is down time, you just need to actually take it
I'm the kind of person that wants to be ready, I could stop working every 6 months and live off my savings the 2nd half of the year. However the need to "accumulate" funds and the distant dream of buying a dream house doesn't allow me to "live"
