How do you set career goals? Got some feedback that since I like to get involved in every random project it's hard to see 1-2 really strong "spikes" in anything - basically a jack of all trades, master of none.

I've always had trouble identifying my strengths and committing to certain ideas/fields...and with ADHD I feel like I'll never be able to settle with one topic area and be known as the expert in that field. Any tips?

I am having 2.5 years experience in the IT sector on vision plus as a software engineer (before joining the bank). How realistic is it to land an AD position as a fresh grad (with a doctorates) and a handful of pharma & FDA interships? Context: I'll have over a year of (consistent) work experience at a large pharma company and I have prior leadership/mgt experience (< 10 yrs) in a gov't role prior to changing careers and pursuing a doctorates.

Also, whats the pay difference between Sr Manager and AD at a large pharma company? TIA!

Feeling under-qualified for non-FAANG tech product counsel role. Final interview upcoming. I'm a BigLaw junior and pivoted to data privacy/cybersecurity a year ago.

Currently a paralegal at a small start up financial services company been there for just a little over a year. I wear “multiple hats” but more recently I’ve done a lot of PM work and some BA work. My company went toxic in the last couple months. Chose me and started interviewing. Had a very successful interview with Amazon but recruiter is working hard trying to place me and said there’s no knowing how long to find a team. I recently got diagnosed with ADHD. I'm 31 and found this only because b school and post mba consulting job was/is much more challenging than anything I did before. What I'm confused about is that even as a teenager I could read entire books overnight. But the last two years of high school I started selectively zoning out and the problem has become worse since. I just realised it now. My doctor has suggested treating depression (I was also unaware of this) with Wellbutrin first (contd)

Stimulants + Caffeine: has anyone been having coffee/tea with stimulants daily for years? Is it safe? Any thoughts?

I have not been diagnosed with ADHD. I definitely fit some of the characteristics that go unnoticed in females. The good news is if i do have ADHD, it makes me quite good at my job as I’m very flexible and can provide positive energy to my patients. Anyway, my boss has told me I have ADHD multiple times. Hello All - I struggle with time management. I take medication but I have no idea whether a task will take 40 mins or 4 hours. Because of this, I over commit and under deliver. Also, having been on the receiving end of criticism, over time I have developed a perfectionist streak. I won't turn it in if it is good enough. How do you break out of this habit?

Doctor just prescribed Wellbutrin to add onto my adderall. Has anyone tried this combo? What effect did adding Wellbutrin have on you?

Does time blocking tasks for the day work for anyone? I get caught up, unable to finish tasks within the time block and feel miserable.
