I recently interviewed for L7 EM at Google and had 4 great interviews and one not so great system design. I submitted external referrals all of which gave great feedback. The recruiter said the next step is team match/interviews and then the HC. Anyone in a similar situation? What was the result? Google

🎉 Congrats to all who were promoted!
Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks in advance!
Is everyone on a date, I’m still working 🥹

For interviews, I dress up as if I was interviewing in person, minutes shoes. You never know when you need to get up and your bottom half is on camera.
I wear whatever and not even a bra since camera won’t be lower than neck
Rising Star
Suit and basketball shorts
I wore a casual blazer (that could have passed for a suit jacket since only my shoulders were visible) but my interviewer was wearing a polo shirt!
Female - nice top and blazer with dressier leggings in case I had to stand up for some reason. Male interviewer was wearing a hoodie.
Most people I interview are wearing suits. Actually surprised to see that.
I think either way is fine - as long as you are presentable and not in pjs. I wouldn’t roast you, I think that’s obnoxious. Wearing a suit just shows you are serious about the interview and want to make a good impression, which is always a good thing.
As a female, a nice blouse. But depends on the role. If you have any insight into their culture, you should try to dress (at least to half) appropriately.
I wear a nice top and suit coat so that everything they see indicates I’m wearing a suit, which is what I would wear in person.
I wear my causal button up and a vest brah
Patagucci
Not nice at all. Still got the job 😆
I wore a quarter zip pullover and Lululemon track pants. People don’t care what you wear lol just what you have to say
I've interviewed and have gotten two jobs during Covid and neither I nor the interviewers were dressed up....totally casual. This could differ by city.
“As appropriate” for anything that the camera can see. “Party” for everywhere else.
