Wasn’t hard. They asked me to clear my desk by Friday and deactivated my key card.
Terrible. Cried before I even walked into my boss’ office. It felt like I was betraying my team after they taught me everything. BUT it was necessary for growth and happiness. Definitely worth it.
I spent 8 years at my first shop, helping to build it from scratch. It was very sentimental to leave but it was the only way to develop myself and get new experiences. I don't regret it.
I was offered a 50% raise to move to my second shop so I’d say v easy
Really difficult - I built a great network within the agency of people who I admired and loved working with to the unknown. The professional growth in moving was absolutely the right choice though.
Pretty hard. Interviewing was tricky. Boss was upset. But it was worth it
Easy. I just quit and went freelance, got a dream gig 6 months later.
...it was made easier by being poached by my old boss from said shop.
