How is the Denver Market for a first year audit manager in terms of industry exit opportunities? Would the best route be applying through a recruiter?

I am currently working as a Customer Service and Operations Analyst at NatWest. I work under the Retail Banking division of the bank and under that Concerns & Queries. I cumulatively have 14 months of experience working in this role. But the thing is I am very much leaned towards finance and want to pursue a career in finance in the longer term. I can not afford a MBA right now. My question is how can I get a role at starting level in finance? Would certifications help me get one?

Hi, interviewed with a firm two days ago and told the manager to let me know of the process soon as I am getting other offers too. Manager expressed that they will process fast to the second round, but still haven't heard. Good time to follow up today or wait till next week? Need that offer badly.

What’s the right level and comp range for biz ops role in FAANG with 3 years at MBB, 2 years in PE, and top undergrad (if that matters?). Got two offers from F/G but tech levels and comp are new to me. Surprised comp is lower than newly minted unicorn (Series C) Offers at F/G ~$140k base, 10% bonus, $60-70k equity vesting 4 years (what level does this convert to?) Offer at unicorn: $160k cash, $250k options 4 year vesting (based on current valuation less strike price... but still paper money)

Struggling to even get an interview… 2 YOE as a sales specialist tasked with planning strategic playbooks with sales leaders and product merchants, training and coaching our sales force, plus creating/communicating content/tools that make them more effective. Yet in applying for any Sales Enablement role I’m getting turned down left and right. Anyone in a current Sales Enablement role or hiring a Sales Enablement role provide feedback on what I’m missing as a candidate?

Got my 4th final round interview rejection this month and feeling really bummed, 2 of them at FAANGs. I always get feedback like “Team loved me, would have brought me and it wasn’t b/c of your interview performance but someone else “was a better fit” or “had more experience”.” I have 3 YOE (1 non consulting) and really sick of not being good enough and consistently striking out as “2nd place”. What do these people have that I don’t have? How can I be better? Just tired of getting no results.

I desperately need advice. About 4 months ago, I interviewed for my dream job at a firm that sounds like it would be the perfect fit and wonderful to work for (Firm 1). I followed up, but never got a definite response one way or another. I then recently interviewed with Firm 2 which also seems great but is not as geographically desirable. I accepted an offer with Firm 2, and signed all documents and am waiting for conflicts to clear. (Cont.)

I’m about to have an interview.. It’s for python and I am not prepared. I have 3 hours, what should I focus on? I know I definitely should have studied more but I have been having really bad nerves and stressing out all day so I would appreciate some positivity and constructive advice!

I haven’t interviewed since college so I’m sorry if this is a stupid question. I’m in the process of interviewing for an industry position. The recruiter asked for professional references at my current firm and I’m not entirely comfortable giving those out because I do not have an offer nor do I know for sure if I’ll accept it if I were to get one. Is this something that normally happen before an offer is extended?

Hi! I’m sort of considering a career change and have been for a while. I’m still only on my first job, but the problems I am facing are a lack of variety and writing headlines, etc is not something that brings me joy I am realizing, but instead burns me out. I am very good at/loved the problem solving part though when I was in school. Am I in the wrong field or role? Changing is a scary thought, but I am willing to do it.

Say you work at Accenture and are doing OK (haven't been laid off yet and have projects lined up). Also let's say that you have good skills in cloud infrastructure, which is plenty busy right now. What would motivate you to accept a job offer at a tiny consulting firm (less than 300 people)? Would a good raise and a promotion to Senior Manager be enough? There are many risks involved with going to a tiny firm. What would it take for you make the jump and overcome concerns?
