When I started I was on a hybrid schedule, 3 days in office 2 days remote, but by year end they plan to be fully in office everywhere. Every year there are 2 to 3 rounds of layoffs. This brings so much anxiety that leaving people wondering when their number will come up. Bonuses and pay raises don't reflect your hard work.
Coworkers are great. Mid management is great. Benefits are great
Speaking strictly as a new joiner to Elevance/Carelon, I get the sense that if you’re a recent hire then you’re okay for the near-term. New roles have to be scrutinized so the HR microscope probably isn’t looking at ur particular function.
I’ve interviewed with them before, everyone I talked to was super nice and the corporate culture seemed good, people that are really passionate about what they do. It was 1 day in office when I applied, which was the most generous I’d seen yet!
