Got a notification from Honeywell that my application is “under consideration”. Does this mean that it is actually under consideration, as in it didn’t get kicked out by ATS? Or is it just an acknowledgment that it was successfully submitted? It took about 3 business days to get the notification.

I know the question was for Citi, just to share though Fidelity has 12 weeks payed paternity or adoptive parent leave and 16 weeks maternity leave. Can be broken into 4 blocks or all at once and must be used within 12 months of birth/adoption.
Wow I have never heard of that may weeks of paternity leave. What an amazing policy. That is really good to know. Thank you for sharing.
Citi1, so its 8 weeks , not 1 month as some stated above ?
I assume it probably depends on line of business. If revenue generating I could see how taking 2 months off would be "frowned upon" but if that's the impression you're really getting from your leadership then I would honestly look elsewhere. We have the benefit here so might as well take advantage of it. If/when I'm fortunate to have another child, I definitely plan on taking it. There's even an option to take an additional 16 weeks unpaid.
Last I knew it was 1 month of paternity leave at Citibank.
I don't think the paternity leave is that great at citi personally, just the standard 1 month
At Citi, we have paid pregnancy leave (PPL) and paid parental bonding leave PPBL). PPL is defined as the mother giving birth. They will have 8 weeks of disability/recovery and 8 weeks of PPBL. PPBL aka "paternity leave" is just the 8 weeks.
Citi's paternity leave policy could definitely usw some more work. Others have it better. We only have the standard 4-8 weeks.
It's 8 weeks. Not great but better than it used to be.
Didn’t BoA get sued for this? Thought you have to have a parental policy that applies universally?
Make sure you take a look at both the unofficial practices in addition to official policies. While I'm not with Citi, I did end up leaving finance altogether due to my experience.
My org gave 12 weeks, only 2 paid but at the time we had unexpiring, accruing sick leave so I was able to take all 12 weeks paid. Before leaving I was on the fast track and was running my own regions. After taking the leave I was considered unreliable and undedicated and my career took a negative trajectory.
On the upside I negotiated a stout separation and moved into the tech space where I'm making 2-3x, work from home, and am able to prioritize my family when I deem necessary.
